Multi-Region DVD Recorder in Dublin?

So many options on the DVD recorder front but so few when it comes to them been multi region. Ive been in the Sony Centre and Dxons in Jervis and neither had want I needed.

Could anyone reccomend me one before I go insane? My budget is upto 300 euros, pretty decent considering the price crash on DVD recorders. A Dublin city centre shop would be preferable and anywhere except Peats, all they seem to talk is boll!x

Go for A DVD Recorder with a built in hard drive. You can save tv programs, camcorder recordings, video recordings etc to hard disc and archive later on to DVD. I purchased a Philips DVDR3460H DVD HD Recorder last week from Arnotts for €330 which is going for €480 on-line in Peats and €380 in Dixons. A friend bought the same one in Arnotts and asked for 10% off and got it for €296. It comes with a 250Gb Hard Drive and writes to DVD+/-R & DVD+/-RW. It also has a USB Port on the front which can play MP3 files and Jpegs from USB Memory Dongles or USB External Hard Drives. It also plays DivX Files from DVD and MP3 files & Jpegs from CD. You can also pause and rewind live TV. I also found a hack on videohelp.com to make it multi-region. (http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks?dvdplayer=dvdr3460H&hits=50&Search=Search). It's a great piece of kit.
