Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DVD from DVD Rec with HD wont work on other DVD Players

    Mate of mine bought the Sony DVD Recorder with 80 or 120gig HDD from Pixmamia a few weeks back for ~€300.

    After getting it set up, it records onto the HD perfectly, and when burned onto DVD-R, it plays perfectly on that DVD Player. The problem is when you go to play that DVD on a different DVD Player or Laptop it never works. The drive doesn't even recognise the DVD.

    Any ideas as to how we could rectify this?

    (Also have the same issue with my brothers DVD Recorder (no HDD).

    sounds like the dvd needs to be finalised, until it is finalised the "home" dvd player will play it and still be able to record on whatever portion of the disc is unused, finalising prevents further recording and make compatible with other dvd players
