hi was looking about getting a new TV, but ahve a small enough budget came across this one, http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=10651&langId=-1&searchTerms=5291443&go.x=7&go.y=12 only €450 in argos. Would this TV be suitable for the likes of an Xbox360 or PS3? is it good value…

Its good value, but i dont see a hdmi connector listed which will limit you , but the xbox and ps3 will be fine over component, but you will be swaping cables quite a lot.

Try here, there are a few slightly dearer but better spec and conectivity.dont know about shipping to ireland
