Hi there! I hold already a full B driving licence for 12 years. Can I apply for a full A driving licence straight away or do I need to apply first for a provisional one? The answer to this question may be obvious, but I'm quite new here in Ireland :)

You need a provisional. And probably the theory test before you can get that too.
