It is quite easy to get hold of one, they are available free at the Mosque on the South Circular Road, also at the ICCI in Clonskeagh. Various other bookshops in the city should have them also.

Just be careful about which translation you use and do note that there are various translations available. Translating Arabic to English is not an exact science, nor do they have the accuracy of the original and unaltered Arabic version. You will see variation between English translations.

The Abdullah Yusuf Ali and Pickthal translations are the most common two, and you should try get your hands on one of these, if you can. :)

There are a number of sites that feature the online translations, one of them:

    Greetings grimloch,

If you do happen to find somewhere where the Qur'an is available, then I recommend the following article so you can find a suitable translation:

    Second everything InFront said.

The following site also has three English translations of the Quran.

I would recommend either getting a Mohamed Asad, Picktall, Yusuf Ali or Shakir translation.

Quite honestly, it's been too hot and I've been too lazy to drag myself over to the Northside recently to pick one up.

    It happens :)

Let us know when you do. You could do it later in the day when the sun is setting ;)
