    Well we've gained 30 members since I posted at 6am this morning, and since we only need another 73 to reach the big 100k, I'm going to revise my guess to late night/very early tomorrow morning. I figure loads of people will join / start registering new accounts in order to get to be No 100,000.

    There may be a lot of people waiting for that number to hit 99,999 before they register.
    I hope Boards will be able to handle the load if that is the case.:)

    I'm going to say the number will jump from 99,999 to 100,020 within minutes as
    people try to be the 100,000th.

    Just noticed that boards newest member , captainfun has the number 104887 for his profile , does this mean that boards actually has had 100,000 users a while ago but every account that has been banned/deleted has not been taken into account , or do these numbers not work like that ?

    There are some blank blocks in the number sequences, e.g. when the database was moved from one system to another, numbers 19,451-20,000 might have been left blank.

    Also some bans on earlier databases deleted the user completely.
