Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have just got a nw Nokia N73 and have paired it up with my car. I have received calls in the car and the bluetooth works fine. The one problem is I cant seem to access my phonebook from the car (like as if it cant read the sim) My bluetooth setting on the N73 are as follows
    Bluettoth: On
My Phones visibility: Shown to all (Although I know once paired this does not matter)
    Remote SIM Mode: On

Under paired devices, I can see my cars bluetooth

I had a Motorola V3 before this and it was fine to view my phonebook in the car

    Any thoughts appreciated

Just doing some research on the web - it appears that a lot of people are having the same problem ie the newer Nokia Symbian phones /phonebooks will not work with some cars, in particular BMW. Has anyone (BMW driver) successfully been able to view their phonebook from one of the newer Nokia phones?

    Edit
Just spoke to BMW - apparently it takes a while for the newer phones to get on the compatability list - after which a software update is required

My N95 Bluetooth doesn't work properly with my Moto car kit bluetooth. It doesn't automatically pair when I switch on and when I manually activate it, any keypress will activate the radio mute. My previous SE had no problem and worked automatically.

I saw a couple of other nokias with a similar issue with another kit. My Nokia doesn't have any option to adjust the Bluetooth to only send phone calls to the kit. It sends all audio instead.

You need to flash it with the latest firmware. Google ho to do this.
    Calling 3 wont help.
If you try to get 3 to fix it,
They'll take your phone saying they will do a software upgrade (after about 4 hours of telling them what the problem is)
You'll get your phone back a week and a half later with the same software and it still wont stay connected to blurtooth.
