As the title says, is there much benefit in studying for an MBA almost immediately after completing a law degree, if at all?

No. start working somewhere for a few years first. An MBA is pointless unless you have some experience of work before starting it. It makes it far more relevant and gives you something to relate the theory to.

Have you tried applying to a management consultancy like Accenture or McKinseys? Working in one of those places of a couple of years gives you a good view of how different industries and companies operate.

They're the classic place to work prior to an MBA and if you're good enough they'll give you a year off and pay your fees for you!
