We've heard nothing from them and they haven't rejoined the NTSA so far this year.

Postponed until the following week as they felt that the bank holiday would adversely affect attendance.

Now who's going to tell them that the National Standard Pistol Championships are on that weekend?

Is the DRC shoot on this weekend?

Is Sunday or is it being switched to the sat to prevent a clash with the Pistol comp?

I guess you mean next weekend OP, since you asked this one already - and yes, they've said they'd run a match next weekend, but we've no details whatsoever past that one. Sorry :(

Yep - I meant in seven days time

    From the NTSA Website:
    DRC 50m Open Cancelled
    Written by SmallboreRifleCoordinator
    Thursday, 10 May 2007

The NTSA wishes to announce that the DRC 50m 3 Position and 50m Prone matches which had been scheduled for last weekend and which had been postponed with little notice to this weekend are now deemed to be cancelled.

At this time we do not know if the match will be rescheduled by DRC; should this happen, we will notify shooters as quickly as possible.
The NTSA wishes to apologise for the inconvienence caused, and to stress to its affiliated clubs the importance of confirmation of calandered events with the NTSA with sufficient notice to prevent such inconvienence for NTSA and club shooters in the future.

So whats going on? Is the match on or off?

I got Sparks' email saying it cancelled - what is the story here?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,244 ✭✭✭rrpc

It's on. The NTSA called it off as no notification had been received by anyone, and to avoid a repetition of last weekend it was decided to make an announcement that it was cancelled.

The announcement that it was on duly came 45 minutes later!

Can the NTSA then please send out an email saying that the match is back on.
