Folding or French doors?

    Hi folks,

    Has anyone got any advice or experience with folding doors? I'm building a new extension and up until recently I'd been considering installing them but my builder suggested that I go with French doors (fixed windows on either side and double door in the center). He reckons that the folding doors will just cause problems down the road.

    Does anyone know any good suppliers, prices, what they're like in terms of heat loss, draughts, other problems??

    It's exterior. The opening is about 480cm wide.
