Rental Car size query

    Hi

    I will be renting a motor in France over the summer for 4 adults, and one infant (and obviously quite a bit of luggage).

    There are two options which are classified as 7 seaters (5+2), those being the Zafira and the Touran.
    There is a proper 7 seater option in the Espace.

    What are your thoughts on these options, taking into account that the Espace is €200 more expensive for a week? Personally I think the Zafira or Touran may be a bit tight, even though we wont be doing huge mileage with everyone on board most days.

    Avis and Enterprise will rent you a Ford Galaxy which has a little more room than the Zafira.

    Have looked on Avis and they go from the Zafira to the Espace (or similar). Enterprise dont seem to rent in France

    Give Avis a call on 01 605 7500 and ask specifically about a Galaxy - just in case they have a few. They probably just give the Zafira as an example as Avis is owned by GM. As it's France you'll probably have to contact the rental branch directly to see what the availability is on any type of car and you still won't have any guarantee.
