    Anyone having any luck lately?

At last the skies looked clear and got out last night but the viewing was awful.
How are the rest of you fairing?

    Not great.
That damn full-ish moon ain't helping.

It's better to be seeing a full moon than an overcast sky! It's a lovely night out, and the moon looks great. Still a lot to be seen elsewhere, not least Venus and Saturn of course. Looks like there is cloud heading our way over the weekend, so make the most of it.

Did ye get out over the weekend? Was a bit so-so.
As usual I am nursing a cold, so only armchair astronomy for me.:(

Nope! Don't expect to be able to get out much now till the Autumn!

Even from your armchair you can do a bit. All it takes is to stick you head out the window. There may be less darkness, and the better constellations are in the winter, but there is still plenty to see between now and the autumn. So keep looking guys.

Just looking out tonight with the binos and the seeing seems to be very good. Loads of stars and very clear veiws of Jupiter, Venus and Saturn.

The weather for stargazing will be clear for most of the coming week.
Clear skies countrywide and moon (19 days old at present and rising at 1:17am)entering its last quater on 8th of June and rising later in the night will be good for gazing.Warm nights too.
