Anybody know where I can lay my hands on some of this around Dublin?
    Any help appreciated.

Try a health food store. I've seen some in a can in a health food shop in tallaght.

There's something about buying it in a can that I didn't like so I didn't buy it!

they have it in Asia Market on Drury Street. I had the same apprehensions about buying in can but i thought it was quite nice!

I remember being in a veggie chineese restaurant before and they had mock duck and prawns and all sorts. Kinda weird but I got the 'duck' and was quite nice.

was that here? I've been to 1 or 2 in New York (and they were amazing!) but veggie restaurants here are thin on the ground.

No it was in Engerland. Somewhere near Milton Keynes. There are a few veggie resturants in Dublin but none that specialise in Chinese food.

They have it in the oriental supermarket in Abbey St - the one at the Jervis stop. They have it in a can and a packet. Have not had it myself as am not really a fan of fake meat things.
