The road to Lahinch

Hi, I'm heading down to Lahinch this evening around 16:00. I was just wondering on a Fri of a bank holiday, which is the best way to go. GO down via Portlaoise and Limerick, or to head to Athlone, and turn at ballinasloe. Thanks for your help. Dave

proberly too late for you now, but if you turn off for Killaloe it'd be the best way
