Help required searching for a product

I'm trying to find a particular product and I don't even know where to begin.

What I'm looking for is a type of bag/pouch similar to the pouch used in this first aid kit. This would be wholesale, not retail. I spent last night Googling in vain: Where do you start when looking for something like this?

No that's the company that makes the product I used as an example of the type of bag I was looking for. Unfortunately, or should I say quite obviously, lifesystems.co.uk make first aid kits and do not sell what I am looking for.

I take it you don't know what the bag is made from? You are going to be looking at working with some sort of sourcing agent, packaging company or product design specialist to get this done in a reasonable timeframe. I assume you are looking for a pretty small quantity (less than 1000) so you are as well finding some sort of agent anyway.

Problem is to find a good one! If there is a lot to your product, I would have a chat to some of the industrial design companies. If it's plain sourcing, maybe talk to the Chinese embassy to begin with? Also, alibaba.com might be some help to you. A lot of the companies on there aren't really manufacturers, they're distributors who have access to a lot of different things.

the chinese embassy has business section, but, i don't think they will help a lot, you may try alibaba yourself, or you can send me the details/photo, I can check that for you. I am a chinese myself, only want to see more buying from chinese market, nothing else
