Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I bought an O2 pay as you go sim today to use in a GPS devide. It won't work right now. I have it configured as follows

    GPRS Dialup number *99#
    APN pp.internet
    Username gprs
    Password gprs

I did check it in a phone to see if it worked first and it did but the phone was configured for pp.wap.02.ie or something like that as the apn and I didn't want to muck with it as it wasn't my phone.
Basically the unit is telling me it can't find the GPRS connection. I did confirm that there is coverage where I am using it and good coverage at that. Again, I tried it in a phone in the same place and it worked for browsing the net.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

generally the pp.internet APN is deactivated on people's account and you have to phone up and get them to activate it. but try the pp.wap one first

check first to make sure you are provisioned with pp.internet on the network. A call to 1747 should confirm that.

Also, for the GPS, the GPS application MUST use pp.internet. pp.wap.o2.ie is only for GPRS surfing on a WAP Browser.
