I cannot at the moment place a resonable sum on a certain fixture as i keep getting the following response:

The bet could not be placed for one of two reasons:

    - You dont have enough money in your wallet for this event.

    - You have exceeded your exposure limit or loss limit

What does this mean - i know i have the funds, but am unsure what my exposure / loss limits are and how do i know??

Did you set a limit on yourself for the amount to be bet in a certain period when you signed up? Can you wager on other markets than the one it won't let you on?

Try the betfair forum. They would be very clued up on the ins and outs of it over there and it is usually quite busy so you will get answered quickly.

No have more than enough to cover this bet - the plan was to bet on an AFL game, do i require to change my funds from UK to Austrailian???

You cannot transfer money from the Australian licence wallet until you have passed an identity verification process (KYC). (Wallet Suspended)

looks like i cant do this either until i am verified...aw well

just after checking that fro New Zealand and Aussie events i must use my Austrailian Wallet... that throws that bet out the window

i've never done KYC and had no problem transfering funds. might be worth to give them a call.

To transfer money to your aus wallet you need a kyc, and to do this you i think it involves sending a photocopy of your passportand/or a bank statement.

They allowed people to transfer money in during the ashes as there was a backlog but you couldn't withdraw the money without the kyc

I haven't bothered. Miss out on Australian Open tennis and the odd bit of rugby but just can't be arsed...
