    A) you need an SLI motherboard

    B) Worth it only if you can get one significantly cheaper than a higher end GPU.

    For example an SLI 7600GT setup might be on par if a little better vs a single 7900GS card which can be gotten for only 10-15 bucks more than the card you linked to.

    The cheapest 7600GT new is this €126 card, the only other benefit SLI would bring is that it tends to raise the minimum frame rate but SLI is really only useful in high end scenarios.

    Honestly you would be better off selling the 7600GT and putting the money towards getting a more powerful single GPU.

    {There is a 7950GT going for €188 in the b-grade section of Komplett which is pretty good}

    Highest end NVIDIA cards with passive cooling where the 7950GT series you can get them an XFX model on Komplett.

    Highest end ATI cards with passive cooling is the X1950 Pro which can be gotten on Komplett and is a good card but slower than the 7950GT however it is cheaper.
