Linux Repositories in UCD

    I can access them, and choose what I want to download, and the computer gets the list of files to download, but it just freezes at 0.00kb.

    Is there a way around this? Is it a firewall, or some such? It means I can't do online updates in UCD, which is a pain.

    RedAlert and Blowfish are the experts but I'd guess it's the proxy. Without more details I couldn't say whether or not there's a possible workaround.

    You could try the UNIX forum and ask about updating/accessing repositories through a http proxy if it's important.
