Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Proper description of a sword

I hope this is the right section for this
I like collecting swords, not real battle worthy ones but crappy ones to act as wallhangers, I bought one from a junk shop the other day, and I like knowing the proper term for my swords (long dagger, bastard sword etc)

It's shaped like a longsword but is only 30 inches long at the blade, it's simple and straight etc and has room for a few extra fingers or a palm like a bastard sword, what would the proper term for it be? It's too short to be a bastard sword but other than that it seems roughly right.

    Thanks
