re-tiling wall

Hi, I've just removed all the old tiles from a wall and am going to re-tile it. Do you need to scrape off the old wall tile cement before putting up the new tiles? thanks. J

Depends how rough it is really, I would though; the tiles may not sit properly if you don't.
