Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

St Patrick's Athletic will make changes for their eircom League of Ireland Cup match with UCD at Richmond Park, kick-off 3.00pm.

Non regulars such as Ryan Guy, Sean O'Connor and Mark Rooney should come in while Brendan Clarke is expected to take Barry Ryan's place in goal.

Alan Kirby, who did his ankle in during the warm up before Thursday's defeat in Cork, is out injured, while David Mulcahy is a doubt having limped off in that game.

UCD, who reached the final of this competition 2005, will take it seriously as always, especially with a play off for a Setanta Cup place for the eventual winners.

Goalkeeper Darren Quigley may get a chance to prove his credentials having lost his place to Matt Gregg recently.

Ronan Finn, who came off the bench against Bohemians on Friday, should come in from the start.

Kick off at 3 and its family day with ticket prices bordering on free if you bring a kid.

    UCD to win.

First Division strugglers Finn Harps entertain Sligo Rovers in the second round of the eircom League Cup at Finn Park in buoyant mood following a 5-0 hammering of Kilkenny City on Friday night, kick-off 7.00pm.

Paul Hegarty has doubts over Barry Curran (knee), Jonathon Minnock (Achilles) and Seamus Brown for the tie with their northwest rivals. Micky Funston remains out for a further two weeks with a foot injury.

Gordon Simms returns from suspension after missing the win over Kilkenny.

Rovers are expected to be without Gary Curran and Conor O'Grady through injury. Brian Cash will be out for a further six weeks.

Rafael Cretaro, Seamus Coleman and Matthew Judge remain doubtful having picked up injuries in the 1-0 defeat to Shamrock Rovers on Friday night.

Goalkeeper Richard Brush and Jason McCartney are in contention for returns to the starting line-ups.

A place in the last eight awaits the winners of this tie

    Harps to win.
