Hi Economist, yes there are leagues and tournaments played in Ireland, see this thread for more details or feel free to ask more questions here.

Some tournments are open for anyone to play in others are invitational only. To get an invite to invitaional only tournaments you should be a playing (and paying ) member of an Irish Tenpin Bowling Association sanctioned league and usually a certain minimum average is required.
