Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shevchenko is the biggest flop in premiership history, let alone season...

The only other player of such high calibure/reputation failing on such a spectacular level in the premiership that I can think of is veron.

But he was approx 12 million quid cheaper.

If you're talking about his Man U transfer it was only 2 mil as they forked out 28.1 mil for him.

Yes Shevchenko was a huge disappointment but he may well come good next season a la Drogba. Ballack, while not performing to the level one might have expected given his reputation and wages, was a useful player anyway, he did get around ten goals and put in effort some of the time ;)

For my own team, yes Luque has been awful at Newcastle but he's never got a run in the team - Roeder seemed allergic to the lad, even when Owen and Ameobi were out for the whole season Luque couldn't get a game up front.

Stephen Carr was an embarrassment on and off the pitch for his attitude.
