Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a xbox 360 on loan but dont have a HDTV. A few games are telling me they wont play on a 50mhz tv and therefore wont load. In system preferences i change the settings to pal-60 but the resolution is crap.

Before i buy an xbox, should i be investing in a HDTV?

I guess you need a HD TV to fully appreciate the 360 but it only changes the graphics resolution. So if you're not to pushed about the image quality you shouldn't feel any need to change. The games still follow the same story and play exactly the same on an ordinary TV as a HD one.

I had a fairly basic TV running with my 360 for about a year before I bought a HD telly. The picture is very noticeably better in HD but if i had to preference my purchases I'd but the 360 before a HD TV

Any newish TV should do both 50Hz and 60Hz.
