Travel on my own - August

I doin a thesis over the summer and want to head off in August for abt a month. No real preferences I like bag packing and hav not problem roughin it. Bit apprensive abt goin on my own but I badly wana get away. If anyone has any ideas wud be appreciated or if anyone is lookin for someone else to go away wit in august.
