PHP mailing list software?

    I'm looking for some PHP based mailing list software.

    I've tried phplist but it's just got too many unneeded options.

    Features I require:
    - admin can send emails / add or remove users
    - people can subscribe / unsubscribe themselves

    That's all! Nothing fancy! I had my own custom one but I'd like something ready made and bug free :)


    Any advise appreciated.

    I would say PHPList to you. Indeed can be a pain but once you get used to it is very good.

    Has all the features you want so it does the job.

    I want to be able to type up a message and just click send. phplist is over-complex for my needs.

    I'm gonna have a look round their forums and see if there's a way I can rip out all the extras ..
