    Good news, from rte.ie/business
Ryanair is to quote fares on its website inclusive of taxes, following criticism of some airlines' advertising by two UK consumer watchdogs.

The Office of Fair Trading Office, and passenger watchdog the Air Transport Users Council, said that while some carriers published the full price of the fare at every stage of booking, other airlines did not, which made it difficult to compare prices.

For example this means consumers may initially see a Ryanair flight for £9.99 when they first log on to the website, but find that this price has risen considerably by the end of the booking when all the taxes and charges are added on.

Meanwhile, speaking at a press conference today, Ryanair MD, Michael O'Leary, said the weakening dollar would compensate for higher oil prices this year.

Mr O'Leary also said the company would consider a second bid for Aer Lingus if Ryanair received a favourable outcome from the EU review and the Irish takeover panel.

'We expect the EU to be completed by mid-July. If we get a favourable result, we'd consider a second bid. That would be subject to the takeover panel approving a second bid,' O'Leary told the Reuters news agency.

Be nice if Aer Lingus followed suit.
Most ridiculous thing is getting to the final page to see:
    Fare +
    Taxes & Charges +
Booking fee 6 euro (this isn't a charge?).

This is about time. Their charges strike me as 'lets think of a number and double it' I know their flights are still cheap, but Ive always thought their pricing was misleading.

Now if they would make their site more user friendly so you can opt in to things like priority booking instead of having to find the secret button to opt out.
