Was thinking of getting into watercooling! A few reasons... seems/looks like fun, want to overclock a bit more than I am doing now, Quieter, Make the most of my job while I have it haha.

Should I go for a kit or buy parts separately or what? I don't really know which route to go so I said id ask here to get a foundation on it :)

I was thinking a kit as im a total n00b at this to be on the safe side and I was looking at the Zalman Reserator one here:

Also I can like I add stuf from other companies onto this im guessing the tubing size just has to be the same?

It is generally better to buy the parts seperatly, As you can pick and choose what you want/need. The kits are pretty good though. As for different parts you have to be carefull of tube sizes, but you cna get adapters to fit different sized tubes.

I have a complete watercooling kit FS on Adverts HERE :D

I always found it best to get all the bits individually so you can tailer the ystem to your own needs...be it silence or top-end cooling...or just 'bling' factor.

If I can't tempt you with my gear then PC-Look and Alphacool are also good retailers. Have used both many times and spent far too much money :D

    Basically I want the looks/performance..

Looks wise.. I want it see through tubes, blue coolant, and glow in the dark uv stuf would be nice..

Performance wise I want to be able to overclock C2D 6600 over 3.5Ghz maybe even more depending what the limit is for water?

Graphics cards... Is it work the hassle to do it to the GTX I want to but.. am afraid ill ruin it..

What about cooling the north bridge?

I dont mind buying a kit or parts seperate just if its going be seperate ill need help with it..

Should have put an offer in on my gear on Adverts...would have done you perfectly :D All you would have needed extra would have been a waterblock for your GTX plus a retention kit for Skt 775.

Anyhoo...A kit like THIS will do the CPU..then add THIS for the GPU and you are good to go. If you really want to go the whole way then you can get extra blocks for the MOSFETs on the GPU and for the Northbridge on your board..but it's often not worth the extra €€'s.

I had the pump in that kit and it is very quiet.

If you need any help choosing bits do give me a shout...similarly when you are building I'm always happy to help out in any way.
