Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Windows XP slow to start up - Help needed

    Hi Folks
    Im having a little trouble with my PC in work at the moment and as we dont have any dedicated IT here its up to myself to figure a way to fix it. Basically it is taking around 20 minutes until after I log in for XP to allow me open any applications programs etc. It just hangs to the point that it wont even open open up the task manager screen to show me whats going on etc. Is there any way for me to figure out what is slowing up the system? Its a Dell PC and I have heard they are notorious for installing programs that you dont need that clog up processor time.

    Run -> msconfig

    Have a look at what is starting up at boot time. If there is anything unnesscary then lose it.

    Cheers. There was few 3rd party aps there so just took them out. Im so useless at this type of stuff. Thanks again.
