I keep getting junk mail from candidates in Dublin north West, but none from those in Dublin West which was my constituency for the lat 15 years anyway.

Anybody know if the mpas have been re-drawn?

No they haven't but they are due to be.
Have you checked mycandiate.ie to see how is running in your area ?
It could just have been a wrong leaflet drop esp if it was through a paid distrubition company.

Gotta correct ye there, Thaedydal, a chunk of Dublin West has moved to Dublin North West in the 2004 boundary revision.

If the OP is near to Dunsink or Cappagh Hospital, then they've moved you.

    Awww crap-on-a stick!!

Shouldnt someone have told us that? If it was changed in 2004 they've had 3 years to let us know.

That means in with all the shinners and socialists and worker party heads.

Think its time to move home.

Looking at that map and based on personal knowledge, it looks like DNW got feck all people in that transfer, its a sparsely populated area dominated by the dump, hospital, govt labs and probably non-voting halting sites etc.

Anyway didn't you have a socialist TD(Higgins) for years, no difference there to your voting choice. :D

Nope. No one gets told individually. It was flagged in the media when the Commission changed it. Where I am at present, is Meath East, but two miles further south, it's Meath West. I told the folks to disregard the posters in the next big town, you cant vote for them.

That change was mostly about making the boundary coinciding with the M50 and making up numbers to balance constituencies.
