I read that and brought it to the Admins attention. Vexorg has done some testing and it needs a bit of tweaking but he reckons it can work nicely.

Shouldnt be too long before its up and running. Me likey too!

    head col1|head col2|head col3
    row1 col1|row1 col2|row1 col3
    row2 col1|row2 col2|row2 col3
    row3 col1|row2 col2|row2 col3

Table seems to be working and nothing broken on boards that I can see:)

I have not installed the live sortable colums (Javascript) if you think it would be useful, let us know.

If you can try some testing and see if you can break it, cant promise we can fix but its useful to know what does not work.

the code for the above is

    [noparse]
    head col1|head col2|head col3
    row1 col1|row1 col2|row1 col3
    row2 col1|row2 col2|row2 col3
    row3 col1|row2 col2|row2 col3

    [/noparse]

Note that the head row is on the same line as the open table tag, if moved to the next line for neatness it will not render the table properly.

The close table tag does not have to be on the same line as the last row.

Do we have a bb code wiki?

Thanks for implementing this, it'll come in mighty useful.

Well, it's working fine as far as I can see.

    Here is my example

    What does this mean?

Yes, after extensive testing, I feel this new feature is suitable for presenting data in an easily digestible format.
    Hurrah!

How do you make the larger cells?

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,399 ✭✭✭✭r3nu4l

Oh cool, a new toy! :D I imagine we will have to have cell width and row height delimiters?

Edit: Of course, what I meant was cell width and row height limits  Me is tired today!

They just get larger to accomodate whatever is in them.
Maybe try spacer gifs :D

I would assume it simply means you can choose which column to sort it by.

It would actually come in useful, to show most goals scored/against etc.
