The question about money and her answer were cut out of news reports later on in the day. Obviously the sports dept didn't think it was appropriate or relevant so they edited it out

It's a valid point, pro boxing is all about the money. We already know how much she earns as an amateur from her sport grants from OCI. I guess he asked a question most boxing fans were interested to know.

I'm sure a lot more was cut out during the news reports, time constraints & all that, nothing whatsoever to do with being appropriate. Pro boxing is all about the purse, it was probably a lifestyle that didn't sit comfortably with her..

Ray invented the word 'dank'. He said so this morning.

Heard that myself and thought he sounded like a twat.

And he said it so smarmily too, as if he was so proud of himself.

Genuinely found the Andrew Maxwell bit interesting today, I usually find him overbearing.

Big time. I've a mate that has a 6 year old and he said the parties they go to for other kids birthdays from school are outrageous. The whole class gets invited and some of the parties have been well over the top (Fillies restaurant in Leopardstown etc etc).

I remember for my birthdays as a kid it was a few sweets and some cake in our kitchen with only friends from the estate, not my whole bloody class.

I've a 2.5 year old and there's no way I'm buying into the madness of (some) other parents.

There were six people in my class and we didn't invite the whole class to my birthdays FFS. :pac:

I just can't deal with Ray using his "little baby" as an excuse for not doing anything, cycling, comedy gig, being a regular person etc. Makes me want to bang my head off the stereo, how does he not irritate himself repeating himself ALL THE TIME!

Nah, was never a man for lemons...

Love sour grapes though, they're delicious on a hot summer's day. :)

The way Ray stumbled through that was shocking, he actually sounded like he had a stutter at one stage!!

If he did a bit more prep for his interviews he would be more at ease and cut out all that eh ah um stuff.

The worrying thing for Ray is that Tubs is holding strong, yet his show has always been awful.
