Anyone care to tell me exactly what "no way, no how" means? He trots it out often enough! The 'no way' is straight forward enough, it's the 'no how' bit that has me stumped!!

RIGHT! - im going to take a good running jump at this cause its been on my tits for the past while....

I am a fan of the show and i did have an earlier rant at the show having the same rotation of 11.45 comedians on each day... you could nearly tell who was on the next day it was getting so bad... and still can!... but,

THIS DATING SH1TE NEEDS TO STOP... ITS GETTING RIDICULOUS!

Last week they ran out of muppets to come on the national airwaves to have a good laugh at and get them some date with a sex starved maniac (be it male or female)... so the show ended up getting a gobby fool from sales in today fm and set him up with three possible "lovely ladies" as ray calls them.

And now, today... a girl who text in to say her "friend" spots a lovely boy on her way into work each day, gets dragged in and plastered up on the today fm site for every maniac out there to have a good oul' look at.

Its not even dating to be honest... the slot in the show should be called "Jenny Kelly will get you hooked up with some lad/lass and get you laid".

And then that call with the two the following morning... its just seedy, as 90% of the time, you know they stayed over and one is on their phone in the bedroom and one in the kitchen - pretending they are at their own homes.

As much as the Ray D'Arcy show has gotten annoying, formulaic, boring, etc. they do still highlight some good.

1 in particular from the last year, Gary Kirwan. He was over 41 stone last year, he's been on the show each month weighing in and now he's down to just over 28 stone.Some difference...

Can't argue with the dating thing either. Infantile rubbish!
I used to listen to an entire show, now I listen to less than half at best, if there is anything else interesting on even less.

I found the Gary Kirwan story brilliant all year. Fair play to Ray and the team for highlighting the obesity issue in Ireland and all the other issues they help people with. The 5K runs they arranged was a great service to the public.

Fair play to the guy for losing the weight, but does it really need to be on the radio? Give him a section on the Ray D'Arcy section of the website and it'd be much better. Those who are intrested, can check in whenever they want. Those who arent intrested, dont have to hear about it. Everybody wins!

I was going to continue this post with more complaints about their choice of segments, but realised I could think of too many! As such, Im not going to go in to them and instead just say that the show needs an overhaul. A lot of rubbish is taking up way too much airtime, and judging by this thread, I'm not alone in thinking that.

Today's show was absolutely shocking. 15 minutes devoted to tights and Ray feeling up Jenny and Mairead on air? A segment comparing holidays in Ireland Vs. holidays abroad that deliberately portrayed Ireland as being cheaper despite all the texts? More dating?

I'm down to 2 hours a day now, I don't switch over until 10 when newstalk's breakfast show ends, today I found myself turning it off at 11:30 again.

the show is boring now, all this i need a date muck every week it seems now. or someone sending in a letter looking for a person they seen on the train or something like that. its boring now. show needs an overhaul badly.

Does anyone have a link to the guy with the mad laugh that was on the odd one out quiz a year or so ago? He was telling a story of how he accidentally gave his mother in law a wedgie! Hilarious.

Jeez... He is on a rant for the past half hour about the Personal Insolvency Bill.

He was having a go at Conor Pope, and trying to push him to answer questions that he didn't have an answer for. Conor was half laughing and just said "listen Ray, this is just a bill, the details you want aren't available yet". Ray started on "sure isn't that the problem with this country, they don't think things through".

He just reminds me of some fella in the pub, who just keeps going on and on when you are trying to relax. He just doesn't have the knowledge to talk about this for half an hour. He is just raving, and being angry for the sake of it. He then goes on to read a load of texts from more people who don't have a clue. It all gives me a headache!
