I recently enquired about purchasing a set of Luna alloys for a Corolla. The alloys I want are those fitted on the 2006 models. The price quoted was
649 euro including Vat for EACH alloy. I was then told to check the brochure and that there were similar alloys available at a fraction of the price. The ones I saw did not look similiar and did not look nice at all. Why are they so expensive in the first place????

because they are original parts and not accessories. Accessory wheels will fit many different models across different markets. original parts alloys are usually for one particular model.
As discussed previously, the price you got must have been incorrect.

    Besides, those alloys are rotten.

We got genuine toyota wheels for the Avensis for ~€120 a corner.
