Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey all

Just a quick technical problem for you, I bought a 4gamers HD VGA cable to hook up the visuals to my PC monitor, and sent the audio to my stereo.

However, the Xbox is not giving me the analogue audio option in the dashboard, only digital output.

    Any ideas whats going on?!

    Cheers

It should be always outputting to the analogue connection. I have my TV setup like that with the optical cable into my 5.1 and phono into the TV. Even though I set it to Dolby Digital it still sends stereo to the TV.

I have a Logic 3 vga cable, but I have my Xbox connected to a 5.1 system. But my Xbox only gives me the option of digital output. Does this mean that Im only getting a stereo signal to my speakers?

    Thanks

Nope, it sends 5.1 through the optical and stereo through the red/white phono cable at the same time. If you are using the optical cable and have it set to DD you will be getting 5.1.
