Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sony Ericsson K750i or W810i

    I'm trying to decide which phone to get. The K750i is €119 from www.o2.ie and the W810i is €239 and comes with a 512MB card.

    Is it easy to get a 1 or 2 GB card for the K750i instead? A 2GB one is costing £25 from play.com

    My main question is: what extra stuff is with the W810i that makes it worth double the cost of the K750i?

    not much really. it has the walkman software and it doesn't have a joystick. other than that they're pretty much identical. it just costs more because its newer

    and if you really want to use the phone as an mp3 player or whatever 512mb isn't enough so you'll be getting a bigger card for it anyway.

    i bought my gf the w810 because i got it for 160 at the time. if i had to pay €239 for it she'd have been getting the k750 :)

    if you have 240 to spend theres afew k800i's for sale in the adverts.ie section.thats a much better bargain there around 200.He might even take around 180 as 200 is his asking price :)

    Thanks for the replies. I think I'll get the K750i so since I'll get €80 call credit when I upgrade.

    I decided a couple of years ago that I'm not going to bother buying call credit any more, instead I buy a new phone every 6 - 8 months, or whenever the free credit runs out. That way my phone desn't cost me a fortune and I always have a fairly cool/up-to-date one.

    Yeah thats a perfect idea.Just buy the credit phone.
