Laying Wood floor - last row question

Have laid solid floors throughout the house or at least have laid all that the nailer would work with and so now I have all the finishing edges to do. Its laid on plywood and I can either painstakingly secret nail second last row and top nail the last bit or have a bucket of floor glue from another job where floor was laid on concrete but it says it works wood to wood also so could I just use glue to fix the last two rows? Am I missing something obvious?
