Cream Granite work top in kitchen

    Thinking of putting a cream granite worktop on my island in kitchen. Have heard though that it can me hard to keep, if something spills on it can leave a stain. Is this true?

    Hi,
    I have a cream quartz countertop in my kitchen and find it a dream to live with. It's more resistant than granite to scratching, staining and chipping. It regularly gets spilled with lemon juice, red wine, tomato sauce, tea, oil and hasn't stained yet. When it's cleaned it looks fantastic, plus it doesn't show up smudges like highly polished black granite and it was the same price.
