why do they let Gigg's take corners? He doesnt have the power to even get it past the first defender. They definitely need to get his replacement this summer who can actually take corners and free kicks seeing as that other fella seems to have a fetish for thumping the ball off the other team.

The ball was over the line though.

Was over the line but Giggs slid in and forced Cech over the line anyway so I think it's fair enough that it wasn't given

Why? Kick off was at 3. Even the buidup on BBC didn't start till 12:45.
