Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi

I just bought a car that has a car kit suitable for the nokia 6230 installed.

Is it possible to just buy the cradle for the 6233 and wire it up or is there a better way?

If it's bluetooth then it will prob link up to the 6233. The 6233 is a bigger phone than the 6230i though, so the chances are you'll need to change the cradle.

You will need to change the cradle, think it cost me around €30 for the cradle itself. You could probably change it yourself but I paid somebody €20 to do it for me.

I think you mean to say that MOST new high-end phones have bluetooth.

Bought it from a mobile phone store in Castletroy, Limerick. Can't remember the name of the shop, I can find out, although I don't suppose it will be much good to you since you're in Dublin. Any mobile phone shop that does car kits should stock it.

To answer your question .. you need a Nokia CR56 Cradle

Yeah, that's the one. Works for the 6233 and 6234.

Just checked my invoice, I actually paid €59 incl. VAT for it.
