    Yes, CMS are bad. Right. Anyway ..

    I'm looking for a CMS that includes:
    - news
    - downloads
    - gallery (with sub categorys etc)
    - forum



    Any advice welcomed, cheers :)

    Well, the website I help admin is running Joomla as the CMS and we use PhpBB2 for the forum. I think that work has been done on integrating SMF into Joomla though and that might be a better streamlined solution.

    Joomla is pretty decent.

    JSAS is standalone server that comes with apache, sql & php so you can play around with Joomla on your PC to see if it fits your needs.
