Hi Armin_Tamzarian, just a Q are you in the RAF? Looks like shots from The Falkland Islands? Very Interesting indeed.:)

    Hey Steyr...
You're correct about the location but I'm not in the RAF,
just down here with work for awhile.
I'll list what aircraft are here that I'm aware of FYI.

    4xF3 Tornados
    1xHercules
    1xVC10
    1x767
    2xSikorsky S92
    2xSeaKings
    1xLynx

    1xEurofighter on the way, supposedly...

If there are any pictures in particular you like me to try to get, please ask.
Sorry the picture quality isn't better.
I'm using a 7MP camera, I'd imagine they should be better.
    Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

    ned78-
Sorry, my pics were probably too big I'll make sure to keep them under 800wide in future.

No harm done Armin. Whats life like on the Malvinas? I hear its one of the few places with a higher sheep:people ratio then New Zealand :)

No no no :) You're grand, you put your pics up before the change came in, and it's great to have someone putting excellent pics up online mate. It's just from now on, life'll be a lot easier on the forum if we keep pics that wide :)

Great pics Armin, would love to get there one of these days. Expensive though, you're one of the lucky ones who can say they are working there. Thanks for sharing.

There are not of aircraft but were talen from an aircraft. great approaches into DUB today due northerly winds. Landed on RWY34 both times. Only managed to get 4 decent pics of the city here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/tearbringer/3391802841/

    Cheers mate...
I think the only realistic way of going there as a tourist is to catch a
    flight from Chile or Argentina.
The air-bridge from the UK takes about 20 hours and costs a fortune
if you have to pay for it.

I like those VC-10s so much prettier than 767s, etc.
It's got some great lines, especially at the back end.

    As requested by Steyr...
I've got some more older pics here that I didn't take myself.
    I'll keep putting them up.

    Old shot I stumbled over

Shows the busy airspace over Europe, there is vertical seperation between those two aircraft by the way!!

Heres a recent one of a B767 with 11ft tall winglets:

I absolutely hate the 767 just looks awkward especially at the nose.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 37 A320-200

I think the B767 looks very sexy, but the winglets just make it look horrible.

Took these today of an F4-Phantom.
Unfortunately it's been relegated to being an ornament.

I think I've managed to improve my picture quality a little.
