Anyone know how to embed pics from flickr with their new page setup, All I end up with is the little white box with the red x when I try the old way.

You might get the X if your photos are set to private.

Thanks, got as far as the selecting size bit but then you can't open it in a new tab, so instead just right-click and go to properties, copy the address and then paste it in to the pop up box when you hit the 'insert image' icon on a new post, seems to work.

Anyway, was out at Shannon on Friday last week, see was anything of note there due to the bank holiday weekend:
Was very happy to see this arrive then leave:

I think this photo somewhat illustrates the plight of the ATR pilot, I could tell it was an ATR from quite a distance because it was in its nosedive attitude and going sideways towards the runway!

Good pics, however the contrast is quite deep on them. the omni one is quite cool.

Thanks, The contrast is pretty deep, but last friday the lighting was all over the place, cloud cover, intense sunshine, drizzle, and repeat,
When that Aer Lingus Airbus was leaving it was extremely bright yet 5 minutes later when the Continental 757 took off it was quite dark and grey.
Just this fair Irish weather I guess:D

Qantas A380 low level over Sydney as part of Australia Day celebrations.

The circle it turned in was tiny.

    Posting for Killinator(as his brother),
The pics(A340/Omni 757/ATR) were taken from the end of RW24(The start of RW06).
Specifically if you continue on down past the Aerospace(the regular viewing spot) and turn left at the t-junction(drive very carefully, the road is barely wide enough for one car and is bendy, but is a public road.)
You'll come to an area of open ground.
Theres a wall by the fence that you can climb onto which gives a great view.

    Uhuh! ;)

What settings do you have on your camera...?

Until recently most shots I took were ruined for sake of ignorance when it came to putting the settings right on it...

I use aperature priority mode (TV) and anything from f/8 to f/11, f/11 being best when sunniest. ISO100-200. Give it a go ;)

    Settings were:
    Exposure: 1/1000
    Aperture: f/18
    ISO: 1600

I do like a bit of contrast in my photos though;)

Indeed, however its better to do that in Photoshop and stuff.

ISO1600 will ruin your quality too! I'd only use it when its very very dark.

Try the settings I suggested anyway.

    I will, thanks for that,
Although I dont personally like to do anything if possible with photoshop to touch up a photo, I dont have problems with those who do, I just prefer to show the photos as they were taken, otherwise I'd just add contast, colour, sharpening, blurring and the whole lot and before you know it the 'photo' is just a representation of what you would have liked to have been able to do but weren't able.

Love the Kenyan 777, The Triple7 is way nicer looking compared to the 767 IMO.

I don't know, there's something about the A340-600 that's a bit uncomfortable - seems a bit 'lanky' or bit out of proportion? Reminds me a little of a DC8?

Would agree dont get to see enough quads especially in DUB:D but like the 777 also think the 200 version looks bit stubby alright but the extra 10m on the 300 version helps what ye think here's a few i got
