Tis- Speedbird 1 on westbound and Speedbird 2 on return

Tis- Speedbird 1 on westbound and Speedbird 2 on return

    fraid not dude,

speedbird 1 is the midday flight, speedbird 2 is the afternoon flight, both keep their callsigns for the return leg as far as i know, the flights alternate between G-EUNA and G-EUNB,

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,712 ✭✭✭roundymac

BA 1 outbound and BA 2 inbound for the lunch time flight. BA 3 out bound and BA 4 for the return for the evening flight. THe old Concorde numbers.

Photos aren't great quality as they were taken from my sitting room :D

Anyway, a Vickers VC-10 was around Prestwick earlier this week. Went up to the airport after this hoping she would do more than 2 touch and gos but they didn't. Nonetheless, the noise was immense, even when the windows were closed!!

Air Canada and Delta today. Air Canada A330 was a diversion i believe due to a medical emergency. Delta was DL177 to ATL.

It's the Qatar Govt/Amiri flight A320- so it's not a paying passenger flight per se :D It had arrived at Shannon the day before
