I was over Dublin South East today and saw plenty of posters up for Finian McGrath who is standing in Dublin North Central -AFAIK. Is it just a blunder on his end?

I think i saw i thing about this in the indo. His response " Northsiders do go into town you know?". Something along the lines of that so he intentionally did it

Very strange, but not unheard of elsewhere.

For instance, in the Co. Westmeath town of Castlepollard, there is a poster on the pole outside the home of outgoing FF TD Donie Cassidy. All well and good, you might say... except that he is not standing in the constituency that Castlepollard is in. He now lives in what is Meath West, so posters of Johnny Brady and Damien English are prominent elsewhere around the square, but not on the pole outside Donie's house!

Donie is defending his seat in the new constituency of Longford/Westmeath, but has lost a lot of his heartland in the division.
