    I think it was a complete miss.
    Last time the PDs cleverly did the 'pole' thing and managed to get back in. But that was because FG were doing terribly and there was the danger of FF getting an overall majority.

    There is thankfully no chance of that happening now. If FG do well, traditionally the PDs do badly, so their latest attempt at a policy-less publicity stunt is a reaction to the other kind of poll!

    Has it occured to the PDs that Bertie is a 'Socialist'?

    So far the PDs are running a very negative campaign. They criticised FG for their disastrous 'Everything is Just Great!' posters in January, but now they are doing the exact same thing. I got the PD Litir Um Toghchán last week and instead of telling me why I should vote PD, it just told me that the Greens wanted to knock down everything, take all my money and eat my babies. Every PD press-conference has descended into an attack on the Rainbow, and Liz O'Donnell admitted on RTÉ Radio One that they are spreading lies about the Greens.

    Desperate...
