Enda is winning on the economy, I can't stand the way Bertie is darting his eyes around and blabbing about how great he was when the economy took off! Of course things improved! There was more money, things had to get better. The issue is that FF raped the economy.

Enda doing some issue stealing now.

I think Enda is doing well and I'd be a FF voter

How many times did Enda mention "the woman from Trim" and "the man in Tralee", etc. Seems like he's trying to mention a town from each county before end of night....
    You'd know he's a teacher - Geography must've been his favourite.

Definitely. Promising to use his veto in Europe as well, those are big words for such a eurocentric party. He's making a lot of points though:D

Bertie referring to the 2002 Budget as "corrective action". He's asking for it...
It was. I never liked how FF shafted McCreevy for doing the (economically) right thing.

That's probably due to FF getting their spin doctors on here. For what it's worth I think neither of them have landed any blows and the whole this has gone flat

Cutting social welfare payments for disabled children is not corrective action. It's not just how much you cut, it's what you cut.

Enda is doing better than expected on the economy, he is keeping it local, always mentioning towns and issues people will relate to. Bertie is too dismisive.

Did you see the way Enda dropped the Tourism part of his portfolio when he was asked about his lack of experience.

MOC said he was minister for trade & tourism....he described himself as Minister for Trade. Sounds more serious doesn't it ? :D

When the fark did FF sort out insurance???

I wish i actually had played a drinking game.

    Definatly a snooze fest.

However i would say the Enda is a lot more calm and composed than Ahern.

    Feck forgot this was on.

The last couple of minutes have been quite boring but I'd definately give Miriam my first preference ;)

Jesus...I wish they'd take an ad break...Its heavy going

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,314 ✭✭✭Marcus.Aurelius

Bertie is still gabbing about the past, not the current. We were raped for 10 years and we're still thanking him for it. ROFL

Any FF-leaning/floating people willing to admit Enda is doing well?

As a bluey, I still think Bertie is doing well.

Enda started poorly but has gathered up a fair amount of momentum as it's gone on.

Did anyone notice EK talking about "Taoiseach-ship" earlier on ? First time I heard that....

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,854 ✭✭✭zuutroy

Enda is doing a better job of pandering to Joe Soap....Bertie is talking like its Taoiseach's Questions

McDowell brought in the PIAB. Since this, the average insurance cost has falling steadily

    Enda hitting hard
