Isdn - No answer from normal phone

    When your ring an ISDN number from a normal phone should it answer. Ive tried a few numbers now and no answer.

    If there's an ISDN phone (i.e. not an ordinary POTS phone) connected to it, yes.

    it depends on if you are using an ISDN phone or an analogue phone plugged into the 1 of the 2 analogue ports

    And then there are different ways to program both the usage and ringing of the 2 phone numbers assigned to ISDN box numbers both in ISDN and analogue modes

    Have a read of the eircom booklet that came with the ISDN box and that covers all the senarios and ways to program the numbers
