At 8pm on Green Joker Poker there is a $700 Freeroll. The last two have only had 13 players!!

It costs 50 Joker Points to enter which dont take long to get!

I was fairly unhappy, got the chips in ahead twice and was sucked out on. Left me fairly shortstacked, and ran into a pp

Luckyjools was who it was against, I looked at it like this:

I want to finish in the money and I was prepared to take a 50/50 gamble to get there. I had played at him at the first table and I had seen some of his allin PF hands and they were Ax so I was pretty sure I am 50/50 to double up and become chip leader and be able to control the table, which was very tight and blind steels were getting through easy enough as most of the players at this just seemed to wanted to come 3rd and get $140.
In my mind it was the right call against this player and in a freeroll tournament helped me in my decision as well.
I know a lot of people will say that this shouldn't come into the decision, as you are trying to make the right poker decision at all times but I was really sure that was the hand he had

I honestly think your only basing that on the results.
He was all-in from early position, so it wasn't a steal

His range had to include all PPs, and even if you include Ax, you still not 50/50
you were only 50/50 if he had any two cards.
but it worked out for you, some bad doggings at the table

I think it's to do with the vip level, I remember getting an email about the various levels, the lower ones get to play freerolls and stuff the higher ones are excluded from.

not so lucky Jools tonight.....wasn't delighted with your call at the time as my player notes on you now indicate! :mad: that's where i take out my frustration hence the copious notes i have which usually contain a striing of expletives!
I see your reasoning above -but i did think my bet was strong enough to weed out the likes of pocket 3's given the scenario at the time...but there ya go- shows what i know how did you get on in the end anyway?

That was quite good fun, it was really funny when kilbreean said to kAAtie that "not this time to go all in" and kAAtie did anyway!! It was really easy for me as I could raise it 3BB every 2nd hand and take the blinds, no one wanted to go on the bubble, you got so ST at the end that you had to go in with any hand really.
To be honest I think you should have pushed more as the enivatable eventually happened you.

played the last few hands with my fingers crossed.

blinds were up to 800 and 400 when i went, i had two cracks at the cash when head to head with the other SS and when Kaatie got the other SS all in. luck not with me and never got a callable hand in last few blinds.

ahh well, good crack. got all my good cards early and too short late on to push.

not the first bubble and wont be the last.

I think you missed my point, i watched this until the end, and the 3 short stacks all left it too late to push. The was a point for each of yous were you should of pushed PF regardless of your cards, as first in vigourish was so strong at this stage. obviously kAAtie was in the best seat for this but, you all left it too late IMO
